I spent my time at Stanford with the renowned Professor Hazel Markus, social psychologist and a pioneer in the field of cultural psychology. Under her advisory/mentorship, I studied consumer behaviors under the lens of cultural psychology. For my thesis, I wrote about how consumers' preference for emotional appeals in advertising differs in Western and East Asian cultural context.Show More
